The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-UT2-Ex1 is a universal temperature converter for intrinsically safe applications, allowing connection of RTDs, thermocouples, and potentiometers from a hazardous area to a safe area. Configuration is performed using the PACTware software and its associated Device Type Manager (DTM), where you can set the sensor type (e.g., Pt100, K-type thermocouple), output signal, and characteristic curves.
